Kira Higgs
Kira is a visionary, values-based leader and strategist. Her firm, KH Consulting, specializes in communications and partners with business leaders and non-profits to turn missions and goals into reality. She has extensive experience and accomplishments in planning, marketing, communications, finance, organizational development and management consulting, and has volunteered her services to RACC on several projects including the Work for Art Fundraising Campaign Cabinet and the MetLife Innovation Forum. Previously, she was the Assistant VP of Corporate Communications at The Standard; VP of Communications at GST Telecommunications; and ran her own management consulting firm for eight years. She earned her BA in Political Economics from Williams College, Williamstown MA, and studied business at New York University and the College of St. Thomas. Among her many affiliations, she serves on the board of Northwest Business for Culture and the Arts, most recently as the VP of Operations. Drawing on her commitment to sustainability, Kira also serves on the Oregon Global Warming Commission's Outreach and Communications Committee.
